Hello! I am a Teaching Professor at the School of International Relations at Fundação Getulio Vargas in São Paulo, where I conduct research in International Political Theory and Philosophy.

Currently, I am interested in researching normative questions at the intersection of global environmental protection and the rights of Indigenous peoples.

I am also investigating the political theory of philanthropy (e.g., its relation to global justice and injustice; inequality, democracy, and global and domestic domination). I am analyzing the impact of these issues in Latin America (and the Global South). Please get in touch if you share similar interests!

I have done research on what political philosophy has to say about the ‘role and place’ of religion in Latin American liberal democracies. See the Research section to learn more about my views on this.

I co-coordinate the Oficinas de Teoria Política do DesJus, a workshop in political theory. If you are a political philosopher or political theorist and are interested in discussing your work with us, please get in touch!
